Environmental issues related to greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions have pushed the development of new technologies that will allow economic production low-carbon energy vectors, such as hydrogen (H2), methane (CH4) and liquid fuels. Dry reforming (DRM) has gained increased attention since it uses CH4 carbon dioxide (CO2), which are two main (GHG), feedstock for syngas, is a mixture H2 monoxide (CO) can be used building block Since been identified key enabler transition, lot studies aimed benefit from environmental advantages DRM use pathway sustainable production. However, there several challenges this process its production, catalyst deactivation low H2/CO ratio syngas produced, usually below 1.0.
